Four Africans - a political refugee from Togo, a Ghanaian photographer and his girlfriend and the group's leader also from Ghana - plan to come to Europe to earn money for a better life. After a difficult jouney full of pitfalls, three of them arrive in Berlin, from where the Togolese man is deported and sent back to his native country. The photographer and his girlfriend face a difficult future without work or accomodation.
