I am currently preparing an article on sub-Saharan Africans in relation to French cinema, and would like to extend this to European cinema more generally. Could anyone help me with the non-French context by identifying:
a) filmmakers of sub-Saharan African origin living and/or working elsewhere in Europe
b) films about the experiences of people of sub-Saharan African origin elsewhere in Europe (e.g. Stephen Frears’ Dirty Pretty Things)?
