The School of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at University College Cork, Ireland, marked the occasion of the opening of their new Centre for Advanced Studies in Languages and Cultures (CASiLaC) with a series of Inaugural Lectures.In this occasion, Professor Daniela Berghahn, Royal Holloway, University of London, gave a talk on “Migrant and Diasporic Cinema in Contemporary Europe: The Evolution of a Research Project”

In her presentation, Daniela Berghahn, who was Principal Investigator of the international research network ‘Migrant and Diasporic Cinema in Contemporary Europe’ discussed the evolution of this project, the knowledge exchange and impact it generated and how it led to future opportunities for research funding.
